Duck Hatching Project: March 2024
We had a very special delivery of Duck eggs on Tuesday
12th March. The children excitedly waited for them to hatch and have since been observing them and watching them learn how to swim!
At Lovel End Nursery we have a varied curriculum and often have visitors, trips or experiences planned for the children. Here is a snapshot of what we have been up to recently.
Fire Engine Visit: February 2024
We had an exciting Friday morning on the last day of term with the arrival of the crew from Gerrards Cross Fire Station. The children learnt about doing drills, climbing ladders and shimmying through tunnels. It was a wonderful way to end our topic "Our Community"
Thank you to the team for taking the time to come and visit.
Our Village: February 2024
During the "Our Community" topic we ventured out to the village twice. We used our knowledge on what we had learned to spot different buildings, businesses, and houses.
On the second trip, we were welcomed by GoldHill Church to the Hub to experience their Narnia Installation. We met Aslan the lion and Mr. Tumnus the flute playing fawn. Our favorite part was when we all became royalty and got to sit on the big red thrones.
