•          Inspection carried out under new inspection Ofsted criteria​

 

Lovel End Nursery, based in Chalfont St Peter, has been rated as 'Expected Standard' by Ofsted in the nursery’s latest official government inspection.  The inspection, which took place in early February 2026 was subject to the Nursery being one of the first to go through the new standards scheme carried out to new, more stringent inspection criteria. It rated Lovel End Nursery as 'Expected Standard' across all assessment areas with high standards listed in each areas.

According to Ofsted,

 

All children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, enjoy their learning and staff make positive impact to help all children to achieve.

The friendly staff take time to greet children when they arrive helping them to separate from their parents and carers with ease.  This has a positive impact on children's emotional security.  Children are confident and keen to take part in activities.
