•          Inspection carried out under new inspection Ofsted criteria​

 

Lovel End Nursery, based in Chalfont St Peter, has been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted in the nursery’s latest official government inspection.  The inspection, which took place in early March was carried out to new, more stringent inspection criteria. It rated Lovel End Nursery as Good across all assessment areas.

According to Ofsted,

 

Children are happy and enthusiastic learners, they enjoy a wide range of activities which enrich their curriculum

Staff have high expectations for children's learning and development

Staff promote positive opportunities for children to learn about similarities and differences between themselves and others

Strong partnerships with parents, who are very positive about the care their children receive

Nursery manager, Debbie Thompson, said: “We’re delighted that Ofsted has recognised the commitment and hard work of our entire team – including our children and parents.  “Lovel End Nursery prides itself on its safe and caring environment that gives young children the best possible start to their education.
