Committee

We are a registered charity run by an elected committee of volunteers. Our volunteers are mostly made up of parents, past parents or past children that have attended the nursery. The committee work in tandem with the Nursery staff to ensure the smooth running of the Pre-School.

The Committee is responsible for:

Managing the finances and supporting the management in managing personnel
Making sure that the Pre-School has – and works to – policies which help it to provide a high quality service
Making sure that the Pre-School works in partnership with the children’s parents

We depend very much on the goodwill of parents and their involvement, without the committee our nursery would not be able to operate.

All members of our committee have had enhanced DBS checks completed and are registered with Ofsted. Our committee members are:

Join Our Committee

All new parents and carers are automatically invited to join our committee and we welcome new members from our local community.

Our committee meets once every term and holds an AGM every Autumn. Meetings are held face-to-face with the option to join remotely should you wish.
